Extraction Methods of Essential Oils:

Distillation:

To insulate essential canvases by hydrodistillation, the sweet factory material is packed in a still and a sufficient volume of water is added and brought to a pustule, alternately, live brume is fitted into the factory charge.

·       The vapor admixture of water and oil painting is condensed by circular cooling with water.

·       From the condenser, distillate flows into a division, where the oil painting separates automatically from the distillate water.

EXPRESSION:

Expression or cold wave pressing is only used in the product of citrus canvases. The term expression refers to any physical process in which the essential oil painting glands in the peel are crushed or broken to release the oil painting.

·       In history, the fruit pulp was removed by hand.

·       The rind and pith were also soaked in warm water.

·       The fruit's pith absorbed water and wielded pressure, which came more elastic.

·       It was reversed which helped to rupture the oil painting cells on a sponger placed next to the rind.

·       As the sponger came impregnated with oil painting, it was also squeezed to release the unpredictable oil painting collected in a vessel and decanted.

ENFLEURAGE:

Blossoms are set on wastes of warm fat that absorb the oil painting from the flowers. Firstly, beast fat or lard was used, but now vegetable fats are more common. Once the essential oil painting has been incorporated into the fat, the "exhausted" flowers are removed and replaced with fresh bones. The process is repeated several times until the fat is invested with the scent. Also, the fat is separated with detergents, leaving just the essential oil pain. 11
